Sauve & Son Farms
Founded in 1938, Sauve & Son Farms is a multigenerational hop grower rooted in family and tradition. Louis and Delia Sauve established the farm’s first hop acreage in Eastern Washington and built their family home in Mabton, which serves as the heart of the operation today.
That foundation has been carried forward through their son Mike, grandson Rick, and now great-grandson Erik, who represents the fourth generation actively involved in the farm. While the hop industry has grown and evolved around them, Sauve and Son Farms have intentionally remained a close-knit family operation, allowing each generation to stay hands-on and personally invested in every stage.
Over the years, the Sauve Family has enjoyed evolving with the industry, updating equipment, and adding more varieties to their fields. Original participants of Yakima Chief’s Green Chief® Program, Sauve and Son, are early adopters of innovative farming techniques.
With a genuine appreciation for the creativity of the brewing community, the Sauve family takes pride in supporting a changing industry and confidently carrying their family legacy into the future.
