HyperBoost®

Oil-Boosted Hop Extract
Aroma Boosting Hop Extract

HyperBoost® is a concentrated hop oil extract crafted through an innovative supercritical CO₂ extraction process. Engineered to amplify hop aromatics and increase yield, HyperBoost delivers powerful flavour in a clean, efficient dose. Easily dispersed in the fermenter, it unleashes high hop intensity in finished beer, like a brewer's secret spell for bold aroma and elevated efficiency.

ADVANTAGES

Increase Efficiency While Boosting Hop Character

HyperBoost supercharges hop expression and flavour, adding bold aroma in finished beers. Derived from single-hop varieties, it delivers variety-specific characteristics and intensifies overall hop saturation. HyperBoost brings the same dynamic intensity to hop waters, streamlining the production process.

Maximize Flavour and Aroma

HyperBoost amplifies flavour and aroma by delivering a dense concentration of survivable hop compounds in either the whirlpool or fermenter. The result is a powerful boost of variety-specific flavour and a saturated hop profile that cannot be achieved with traditional pellets alone.

Small Footprint, Big Results

The concentrated and compact design of HyperBoost makes dry hopping dramatically more efficient. A hop charge that fits in your back pocket! HyperBoost is available in 100g and 10kg aluminum bottles in multiple varieties, for the perfectly boosted hop profile your brewery is known for.

Dial in the Intensity with Total Accuracy

Fine-tune your hop expression with precise, repeatable control. HyperBoost integrates effortlessly in both whirlpool and fermentation stages, dispersing rapidly across all temperatures. Its consistent uniform formulation guarantees accurate dosing down to the final drop, batch after batch.

Where Hop Science Becomes Sorcery

How to Brew with HyperBoost

HyperBoost is designed to easily pour into your fermenter as a dry hop addition, adding an intense saturation of hop flavour to your finished beer. Yakima Chief Hops recommends using HyperBoost during active fermentation, but it can also be added to the whirlpool. Using HyperBoost in place of traditional pellets can increase finished beer yield.

Kettle

Kettle Brewing

HyperBoost is not recommended for use in the kettle or during boil. For efficient additions of alpha acids, Yakima Chief Hops CO₂ Extract is an excellent choice, and for heightened hop aroma and flavour in the kettle, we suggest T-90 pellets or Whole Leaf hops
Whirlpool

Post-Boil/Whirlpool

We recommend using HyperBoost in the fermenter as a dry hop addition, but many brewers also choose to use HyperBoost in the whirlpool for an extra aromatic punch. Up to 100% of your whirlpool charge can be made up of HyperBoost.
Fermentation

Active Fermentation Dry Hop

Most brewers are using HyperBoost in the fermenter as an active fermentation dry hop addition. We recommend using HyperBoost for 25-50% of the addition and using T-90 or Cryo® pellets for the remainder of the hop charge.
Dry hopping

Post Fermentation Dry Hop

For dry hop additions, we recommend using HyperBoost for 25-50% of the addition and adding T-90 or Cryo pellets for the remainder of the hop charge. As a dry hop, we suggest starting with a replacement rate of 100:1 HyperBoost to T-90 pellets by weight.

Frequently Asked Questions

HyperBoost and DynaBoost are concentrated hop oils produced via a unique supercritical CO₂ extraction. DynaBoost is standardized at 20% total oil and is intended for whirlpool use, while HyperBoost varies in total oil (40-70%) depending on variety and is designed for use during fermentation. DynaBoost pours easily at room temperature, and HyperBoost stays flowable even below freezing, making dispersion easy even in the fermenter.

On our 15-barrel batch, we replaced HyperBoost for T-90s in the dry hop and gained a barrel of extra beer. Just HyperBoost and Cryo. So, we used two way more efficient products for aroma, and then got two extra kegs? That pretty much pays for itself.

We were on board with this product before we even got our hands on it. Removing plant matter from the dry hop is very important to us.
